I’m telling you this because it’s best not to have your eggs in one basket. If your don’t get on with your hosting company, sometimes it can be a drawn out affair to get back what’s yours and then rehome somewhere else.
For domain name registration I recommend the following companies:
For UK domain names: www.123-reg.co.uk
For US domains: www.enom.com
Both of these companies are very competitve on price (but don’t buy your hosting there! - just domain only).
